OyePDF provides a suite of free, web-based tools for processing PDF documents, including but not limited to: merging, compressing, converting, editing, splitting, and unlocking PDF files. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended solely for personal and lawful commercial use.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use OyePDF to:

• Upload, process, or distribute files that infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, or related infrastructure.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or abuse the Service beyond normal usage.
• Process, share, or distribute illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
• Circumvent or bypass any security feature of the Service.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair our servers or networks.

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user we believe is in violation of these terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, icons, and software on OyePDF — including the website design, tool interfaces, and source code — are the exclusive property of OyePDF or its content suppliers and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our explicit written permission.

5. User Uploads & Content

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to OyePDF. By uploading a file, you grant OyePDF a temporary, limited license to process that file solely for the purpose of providing the requested service (e.g., compressing or merging the PDF).

Uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 1 hour of processing. We do not access, read, or share the contents of your files.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own all rights to the files you upload, or have the legal right to process them.
• Your files do not violate any applicable law or infringe on any third-party rights.
• Your files do not contain illegal content.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully to understand our practices.

7. Advertising

OyePDF is a free service supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and other technologies to show relevant ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements displayed on the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OyePDF expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• Processing results will be accurate, complete, or meet your specific requirements.
• The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components (though we take all reasonable precautions).
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend keeping backups of your original files before processing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OyePDF, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed USD $0 (zero), as the Service is provided entirely free of charge.
